Commitment to professional development
EWON conducts half yearly performance appraisals and assists employees to achieve their full potential by supporting their learning and development. EWON offers a range of courses for professional and personal growth, and we support staff pursuing tertiary qualifications. Where possible we also provide job rotation programs and higher duties opportunities.
Remuneration strategy
Staff have their salaries reviewed yearly. We aim to keep salary levels competitive and salary increases reflect merit and excellence in performance.
Commitment to an effective and safe workplace
Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) is a top priority at EWON. Our OH&S committee ensures our programs, policies and procedures make our workplace safe and comfortable for everyone.
We are committed to ensuring our work conditions are fair, attractive and in keeping with best practice. Our staff elected Employment Consultative Committee provides ongoing advice to EWON's management on how we can achieve this.

Employee Assistance Program
EWON offers a free Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to staff. The EAP is a professional employee support service intended for staff who face difficulties that affect their wellbeing, work performance, or enjoyment in the workplace. This service is strictly confidential and provided by an independent, external organisation.
EWON Social Club
The EWON Social Club (ESC) is a staff-funded social club which organises a variety of functions and activities for all staff. It is supported by contributions from staff and EWON.
Corporate responsibility
EWON aims to be a socially responsible organisation. We have an active fundraising program for selected activities.
We are committed to a sustainable environment and have a staff group to consider and recommend ways of reducing our use of resources.
