What to do if you have an electricity complaint

You can contact EWON for help with any complaint about an electricity supplier in New South Wales.

Generally, we would expect you to have tried to sort out your electricity complaint with your supplier first. Before contacting your electricity supplier, have a look at some of our tips for dealing with your supplier. See also rights and obligations.

Many electricity suppliers also have programs to assist customers in financial difficulty manage their bills more effectively. See help with payment difficulty for an overview of these programs, or contact your supplier for further information.

Who is your supplier?

Electricity consumers in NSW can sign an energy contract with any of a range of different licensed suppliers. See energy competition for information on how this works.

It is a condition of licence that electricity retailers must be members of EWON. A list of our electricity members appears on this page.
