AGL is warning people about a new malicious email scam targeting both AGL customers and non-customers.
The hoax email is AGL-branded and contains malicious malware which allows scammers to infect the user's computer with ransomware and access personal information. The email presents as an e-account and asks users to click on a link.
AGL says people should check the sender's email address before opening emails, not to click on links and to delete the email from your inbox and deleted items folder.
