Re-engage and Renew Forums - recap

Shane Fitzsimmons presenting

A big thank you to those of you who attended our online Re-engage and Renew Forums in October as part of Anti-Poverty Week. We were pleased to re-engage with over 150 community workers, government representatives and stakeholders from Orange and Western Sydney to discuss how we can continue to reach low income and vulnerable communities in a world that has been dramatically altered by the pandemic.

Resilience NSW Commissioner, Shane Fitzsimmons spoke about his work during the catastrophic 2019/2020 summer bushfires and gave his insights into how communities can rebuild and renew after disasters.

We received positive feedback from participants about the quality of the speakers and the new knowledge they were able to take back to their workplaces.

We look forward to holding these annual events again next year.
