Participants wanted for UNSW extreme weather study

As extreme weather becomes increasingly common, more customers are facing power supply outages. Researchers at UNSW’s School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering are seeking regional NSW residents and business owners affected by power outages from extreme weather to participate in a new study.

The Bushfire Recovery and Resilience Fund project seeks to understand the role of solar, batteries and Distributed Energy Resources in maintaining regional electricity supply during disruptions to the electricity grid. All participants will receive a $50 gift card for each strictly confidential interview, workshop or focus group they undertake.
